Ingredients
Burgers
1lb leg of lamb
1 tabls. ketchup
1 tabls. dijon mustard
1 tabls. Worcestershire
2 cloves garlic minced
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon rosemary (fresh or dried)
1/4 cup onion diced
1 small hand full breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tabls. olive oil for cooking
Caper Mustard Aioli
3 tabls. mayo
1.5 tabls. dijon mustard
2 teas. capers chopped
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 teas. garlic powder
1/2 teas. pepper
Recipe
- Using a meat grinder begin by grinding your leg of lamb. Once meat is ground place the meat in a medium size bowl.
- Add your ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic, salt, pepper, onion, rosemary, breadcrumbs and egg to the bowl. Mix together until smooth. Grab about a small fist full of the meat and form it into patties.
- Heat a small teaspoon of olive oil in a medium saucepan. Place the burgers in the saucepan and cook about 5 minutes per side.
- As the burgers are cooking begin to prepare your aioli. Mix together the mustard, mayo, garlic, capers, and pepper. Let sit for 15-30 minutes.
- Remove the burgers from the saucepan and serve on your favorite bread topped with the aioli!
